When in full screen mode, I have to click below icons and buttons in order for them to register. In Windowed mode this is not the case. However, in windowed mode some icons are hidden under the task bar as it is not possible to shrink the window from screen height.
I am using an HP Laptop with Win 10 and a screen res of 1366x768

I think you have to go full screen and then press “ALT ENTER” ( both keys at the same time.)

To get around this Windows quirk, I usually set the task bar to autohide, then use windowed mode but stretch the window as large as it goes to simulate fullscreen.
