You use the JDK, regardless of what your project (Ready Maker or your own). Try to always use the latest version, if you have problems with it, install the previous version. As far as I can see, at the moment the current version is : https://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jdk8-downloads-2133151.html
