The recording was looking around quickly using a mouse, so the movements a bit unsteady.
Press the arrows to turn around
I’ll make a better gif with looking around coded so its smooth.
@Dravin @Ready
This is so unique!!! You can make sooo many games like this. I’ve never seen this made before on Ready
You can probably make 3D games off a 2D workspace with stuff like that actually
Thanks, I thought of
doing this a while ago
Using variables to set the gif frames had some minor problems.
Like a value below 0 and greater than 100 won’t work with gifs.
Is there a way you can make it to where if it’s over 100, it will be automatically sent back to 100?
Start and end of gif finish at same place.
So turn right is 0 to 100
Turn left is 100 to 0
When variable greater than 100
Set to 0
When less than 0
Set to 100
This works for looking around
Wow. Very smart!!
All ready users should see this. You definitely made something I’ve never seen from a Ready user or on the forums.
I hope this inspires some people and allows them to make a game that uses this system.
You are a better inspiration.
You are coding in C and released a game for sale - free
Awww! Thank you so much for the kind words!! That really does mean a lot
In the new version of the “Ready Maker” we added the new “Integer” parameter for the global variables, I think this should solve this problem.
Thanks.
I’ll have to try using INTEGER next.
