How to make an animated screen transition?

I want to switch the animated screen (with the screen dimmed). Can it be made from ready maker without using gif.

Yes! It is possible

Add the second screen (background 2), adjust its size and keep it off screen. Then add the following events:

When:
(Something happens)

Do:
Screen 1 > Appearance > Set Hidden > Yes
Screen 2 > Position > Set Position > 0,0

Can 2 backgrounds be included in a project? How do I do this?

Upload the background images, keeping the “Use as Background” off.

Add both images to the scene, turn of “Solid” and set the “Layer” in the appearance tab to “Background” for both the images. Bring the SECOND image to position 0,0 and adjust its size. Then drag it off scene.

Set the position of first image 0,0 and adjust its size.

In the events section: add the following event:

I could not. Can you show me an image or a project about this?

There you go @Yburak41! Currently, I’ve used a blue box as the second background. Once the button is clicked (you could change the condition as per ypur requirements), the “BG” image, first background gets off scene, and bordered square (background 2) comes to the scene.

I guess I could not explain very well what I mean. What I want to say is screen transition: when you move from one room to another in puzzle adventure games, the screen goes black and then when the black screen disappears, you find yourself in another room. That was the screen transition I mean.

OH! I would see if I could do something about it.

There you go again @Yburak41. You could change the time transition in the events as per ypur requirements.
